Meet Zozy – Looking for Her Forever Home! Zozy is an adorable 5-month-old female kitten with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! She loves to chase toys, explore her surroundings, and cuddle up when it's time to relax. Her sweet and affectionate personality makes her a wonderful companion for anyone looking to add a little joy to their home. While Zozy is incredibly loving with people, she hasn't been tested with dogs or other cats, so a slow and proper introduction would be recommended if you have other pets. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate kitten to grow up with your family, Zozy may be the perfect match! Please share to help Zozy find the loving forever home she deserves. #AdoptZozy #KittenForAdoption #RescueKitten #AdoptDontShop #ForeverHomeWanted #CatLover #KittenLove #RescueCat #FelineFriend #CatRescue #BastetsCatSanctuary #EgyptianRescue #SaveALife #AdoptACat #ShareToCare All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate.  Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Potential adopters for our Persian cats need to have prior Persian cat experience as they need to be well cared for.  Grooming, dental, and veterinarian exams are done once a year, and a good quality brand of cat food such as Royal Canin, Hills Science Diet, or Purina Pro plan is the upper tier level with a black label. We are a rescue and get what we get in terms of cats in need of a home. In no way do we work with breeders or buy the cats from the Friday markets so we can put them up for adoption as a rescue. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application.   NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicants and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten. ##2785788##

Meet Shirley – From the Streets of Egypt to a Forever Home! Beautiful Shirley is approximately 1½ to 2 years old and has already been through more than any cat should have to endure. Shirley was found living on the streets of Egypt with a severely infected uterus. Thankfully, our rescue team acted quickly and made sure she received the veterinary care she desperately needed. After treatment and recovery, Shirley is now fully healed, happy, and ready to find her forever family. Shirley is the sweetest, calmest girl! She loves nothing more than taking long, peaceful naps in a warm spot of sunshine or curling up on your lap for a cozy nap. But Shirley has an extra-special way of showing her love. She will wrap herself around your neck and give you the gentlest little hugs, as if she is thanking you for giving her a second chance at life. After surviving the streets, Shirley deserves a home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. She isn't looking for anything complicated—just a loving family, a warm lap, some sunshine, and a forever home. Shirley is ready for her happily ever after. Could you be the family she's been waiting for? Interested in adopting Shirley? Meet Augustus, a fluffy black gentleman with the smallest, fluffiest little face and a heart that is somehow even bigger than his magnificent coat. Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat * Adoption fee (1.5+ years) is $315 * Augustus is on a prescription diet. * Our rescue is located in Houston, TX, and we transport our babies to wonderful adopters in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, and stops along the way. Transport cost is included in the adoption fee. --- Augustus is a fluffy black gentleman with the smallest, fluffiest little face and a heart that is somehow even bigger than his magnificent coat. Augustus knows what it’s like to struggle. Life outdoors was, without a doubt, the cruelest chapter of his story. But perhaps that’s also why he understands just how wonderful life can be now. These days, Augustus is always hovering a few steps above contentment, ready to stretch out his paws toward any human willing to give him even the tiniest bit of attention. And let us be clear: Augustus absolutely LOVES people. Give him a human companion and he is a happy boy. He would happily spend his days soaking up affection, lounging nearby, and enjoying the simple luxury of being safe, warm, and loved. He dreams of spending his golden years cuddling with his human—or, perhaps even better, sitting contentedly nearby while they go about their day. He doesn’t need constant excitement or adventure. He just wants to be part of someone’s life, where he can finally know that he is safe, cherished, and home. After everything Augustus has been through, he deserves nothing less than a soft place to land, a loving human to call his own, and a lifetime of belly rubs. If you’re looking for a fluffy little shadow with a huge heart, Augustus may be your guy. --- Augustus has been in a foster home with multiple other young and older kitties. He would do well going into a home with or without other pets. With the right family who will give him the love he needs. Augustus has never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a patient, cat-savvy dog we think he could learn to love a new pup sibling. Augustus is approximately 2.5 years old, neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy.. all he needs now is a forever home! The adoption application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Augustus is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

 --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, youre doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
