Persian kittens & cats in Defiance, Ohio

Hi, I’m Snickerdoodle, and I’m probably the fluffiest, sassiest, most fabulous little 'fraidy cat you’ll likely come across. I came to FDHS back in June with my mama and littermates, and I’ve been serving looks and vibes ever since. I like to think that I'm the ultimate teacher of consent. I love attention, but strictly on my terms. Everyone is suspicious until you take the time to win over my trust...and I’m not exactly handing that out to just anyone. I can be judgy, a little rude and maybe even a tiny bit dramatic, but my caregivers can’t help but absolutely adore me.I’m definitely more of a cat’s cat and seem to get along much better with my feline friends than I do with my human caregivers. I’m hoping that might change once I’m in a loving, calm home that’s entirely my own. I'm starting to take my time getting comfortable and figuring out that humans aren’t so bad after all.My canine neighbors, however, are a different story. They freak me out, so I’d really prefer a home without any of those scary creatures.Underneath all my fluff, sass and drama, I am a really sweet little soul in here who just wants to feel safe and loved. I might need some patience and understanding, but I promise I’m worth getting to know. **Spayed and up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines & monthly prevention**

Hi, I’m Samoa! I’m a GORGEOUS 2 to 3 year old longhaired tabby, and I’ve been waiting patiently for my turn to find a home of my own.I came to FDHS back in June with my kittens as part of the Cookie Cat litter. Most of my babies have already found their forever homes, but I’m still here waiting for mine. I’m a little more on the reserved side, but I’m very sweet once I get to know you. I love being pet and don’t really mind being held either. My favorite thing to do around here is sit by the window and watch everything happening throughout the shelter. I’m basically a professional people watcher, and I think I’d be very happy in a quiet home with a nice window and a good view. I wouldn’t mind being your one and only cat, but I might also be happy sharing my space with another calm and respectful feline friend. What I really want is a peaceful home where I can relax, enjoy some attention and have plenty of love coming my way.**Spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**

This handsome floof is Sye!Sye is a gorgeous long-haired kitty who has now been with us for a few months, and during that time he’s shown everyone exactly why we adore him so much. This easygoing boy is truly the king of cool, calm, and collected.Sye is friendly with his caretakers, gets along well with the other shelter cats, and doesn’t even seem bothered by his doggie neighbors. He has such a calm, laid-back personality and seems happy just having a cozy place to lounge and people nearby to love on him. It’s become very clear that Sye is going to make a purrfect addition to just about any type of home. **Neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**
