Hi, I’m Monty! I’m a 2-year-old Persian boy with a fluffy history and a friendly personality. I came to the shelter because my previous owners became ill and could no longer care for me. I miss having a home, but I’m hopeful my next family is out there waiting. You might notice I’m rocking a bit of a short haircut right now. As a Persian, my coat normally grows long and luxurious, but it needs regular brushing and grooming to stay healthy and mat-free. Right now I’m shaved so I can have a fresh start, but my future family should be ready to help keep up with my grooming routine.Being a Persian also means we can sometimes have a few extra care needs- like keeping our coats brushed, helping keep our eyes clean, and making sure we stay well groomed. With the right care though, we make wonderful companions.Personality-wise, I’m a friendly guy who enjoys pets and likes meeting new people.
