Story
DOB: Dec 19, 2025 Opportunity is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Opportunity is a gentle, sweet-natured boy who just needs a little time to feel safe. While he may be shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long before his affectionate side shines through. Once he trusts you, he'll reward you with loud purrs, lean into chin scratches, cheek rubs, and full-body pets, and happily soak up your attention. This handsome fellow also enjoys interactive play, especially chasing a wand toy. He's always happy to enjoy a gentle brushing session. He loves keeping his coat looking its best, and a little brushing is sure to earn you a chorus of happy purrs. After playtime, he's perfectly content relaxing in his favourite cozy spot while keeping you company. Opportunity would thrive in a patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. He would especially love a home with a friendly resident cat, as he would enjoy the companionship of a feline friend. If you're looking for a kind, quiet companion with a heart full of love, Opportunity is ready to become your new best friend.

Story
Coco is a sweet, gentle, and funny 3-year-old cat. We adopted her from a family friend, and she has brought us so much love and happiness. Sadly, our son developed a severe cat allergy and now requires two inhalers, so we have to make the heartbreaking decision to find Coco a new home. We are looking for a loving family with no cat allergies, so Coco can have a safe, permanent home and never have to be rehomed again. This is truly one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make, and we only want the very best for Coco.

Story
Auggie and Eddie are bonded siblings who started their lives in Dubai, rescued off the streets as kittens and brought to Canada with their adopter who fully intended to keep them for their full life, but employment has taken their adopter out of the country. A family member tried to integrate them into their home, but the dog living there is not a fan and this has made the home less than harmonious. Eddie is curious and adventurous. He likes to be nearby, but is not the cuddly sibling. He is playful and loves to chase his pompom toy. He is quiet, and prefers to be near and will follow or search out his humans. His forever home should have no other pets except his sister Auggie and will allow them to explore and play freely. He has been in a quiet home with older children, so his new family should have children over 10 years old. He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

A family member tried to integrate them into their home, but the dog living there is not a fan and this has made the home less than harmonious. Auggie is shy and cautious, but likes to sit nearby and will allow pets and purr when she's feeling comfortable. She can be expected to hide when she first arrives in a new environment and needs her new forever family to give her the time she needs. Once settled, she will follow her person around until she can hae snuggles. She is quiet, affectionate and sweet and is the more cuddly of the pair. They should be the only pets in their forever home where they would have feedom to explore and play. They are calm around older children, so any children in the home should be at least 10 years old. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!
