Eliza is a year old and life has not been kind to her or her siblings who found themselves in an extreme hoarding situation in Scranton.They were starved for food so they ate anything they could find which included boxes of dry rice.?? They remained alive but due to the rice depleting the taurine in their systems , they all lost their vision.Luckily enough, Eliza has likely never known anything different so she has adapted very well to her condition.These beautiful cats are all cat friendly and coexist well in our community cat room .To watch them through the windows, eating, playing , using their litter pans, you would never know they could not see.They are so resilient and are very happy and healthy and awaiting the chance at a real forever home !
