💔 Bonded siblings Batman & Kitty are looking for a new home 💔 Batman and Kitty are very special to us at Furry Friends Animal Aid. They were originally adopted from our rescue as Astra and Lucian, which are the names that will appear on their veterinary and medical records. Their family later renamed them Batman and Kitty, the names they know and love today. These gorgeous, fluffy Nebelung siblings were born March 11, 2025. They were adopted by a family who loves them deeply, which is what makes this decision so incredibly heartbreaking. After months of trying everything possible to help Kitty feel safe and comfortable, including creating a special little cat apartment for her under the stairs, the family has come to the difficult realization that she simply cannot thrive in a home with three energetic little boys under six. Sadly, Kitty is only truly relaxed and happy when the children aren’t home. Kitty is a beautiful, incredibly loving girl who adores being held and cuddled. She wants affection and closeness, but the constant activity and noise in a home with three very young children causes her to hide far too often. She deserves a peaceful home where she can finally feel safe enough to be the affectionate girl she truly is. Batman, on the other hand, has the funniest personality! He loves everyone, doesn’t mind children, and will happily become your best friend, especially if you have treats. 😂 Batman and Kitty are deeply bonded siblings, so they must remain together. Separating them is not something we will consider. They would do best in a calmer home with adults, an older couple, or a family with older children or teenagers. They have lived with other cats and can get along with them, although introductions should always be handled patiently and with Kitty’s comfort in mind. Their family would love nothing more than to keep them. This isn’t a family giving up on their cats. It is a family that loves them enough to recognize that the home they can provide simply isn’t the environment where Kitty is happiest. Sometimes loving an animal means making an absolutely heartbreaking decision because you know they deserve more than you are able to give them. We know how difficult this has been for their family, and we want to help Batman and Kitty find the peaceful, loving forever home they deserve. They came to FFAA together as babies, and now we’re going to make sure they get their next chapter together! Furryfriendsaa.org/adopt
