Story
Princess has a name that suits her purrfectly. She is pretty and knows it. She is very friendly and sweet. She loves affection and loves her food! She plays a little but is really very much a pillow princess who prefers to lounge and be pampered. She is a purebred Persian who was surrendered by her owner. She adjusted quickly to her foster home. She has not wanted to be around other kitties. She would be most happy in a quiet home as the one and only true princess. She might do OK with older children who can respect her need for calm, but younger children would be too much for her. Persians require daily grooming and due to their "smushed" face, are not able to groom themselves as easy as other cats. She needs a home with someone committed to her grooming needs. Her previous owner shaved her. Her hair has grown back and she is beautiful. She is OK with being brushed, but gently. She has an eye ulcer. The vet says this can happen with Persians as their eyes can dry out more. Eye drops are recommended to keep her eyes from drying. She is easy about these drops and pretty chill all around. Adoption fee is $330 as she is a purebred.

Story
Apply to Adopt: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Sherbet is a charming, chatty ~1-year-old who wears his heart on his sleeve - or rather, announces it at full volume. He began life as a stray and has taken to indoor living with open paws, soaking up every moment with his humans like he was born for it. He is the definition of a Velcro cat. Where you go, he goes. What you do, he has opinions about - and he will tell you all of them. He loves being pet and will happily narrate the entire experience. If you’ve ever wanted a cat who actually communicates back, Sherbet is your guy. Around other cats he is calm and easygoing - the kind of cat who defers rather than dominates. No posturing, no power plays. He’s content to let others take the lead while he focuses on what really matters: his humans. He has met a dog and while his initial reaction was a healthy skepticism, he handled it with surprising grace - and each introduction has gone better than the last. With time and patience, he shows real potential to share a home with a canine sibling. Fully Vetted: Spayed • FVRCP & Rabies vaccinated • FeLV/FIV tested • Current on deworming & flea prevention Transport Available: Fostered in the Houston area, with transport to the PNW, Northeast, and along route — transportation costs included in the adoption fee. Adopt Sherbet, Help More Animals: Every adoption fee goes directly toward spaying feral cats and supporting low-income families with veterinary care. You’re not just giving [Name] a home — you’re helping break the cycle of overpopulation, one life at a time.
