I got Cooper from the Humane Society when he was 8 years old, he is now 11. I am rehoming him because he doesn't use the litter box consistently to pee and the vet said it could be because of stress from living with another cat. I hate the idea of putting him back in a stressful shelter, so if he could go straight into another home it would be wonderful!He is skittish around strangers at first, but once he you warms up to you, he likes to sit next to you or on your lap. He typically likes to be in the same room as you. He is a good companion and I hate to see him go but I can tell he needs a less stressful environment where he is the only pet.He loves food and I have found using a timed feeder prevents him for begging for food. When I first got him he was 20lbs but now he is down to 13lbs.He likes scratching posts, cat nip, cat nip toys, string toys (sometimes) and treats.
