Meet Gypsy: This sensitive girl who feels most comfortable in quiet, predictable environments. Gypsy does best in a peaceful home with adults only and prefers low activity levels and minimal stimulation. Gypsy observes the world quietly and enjoys companionship that is calm and respectful rather than hands-on. She is very laid back and not particularly playful, finding joy instead in soft beds, quiet corners, and simply sharing space. Gypsy is not a cuddler, but she appreciates a gentle presence nearby. She is happiest as the only pet, though she may do well with one calm, respectful cat over six years old who understands and honors her need for space. Homes with dogs are not a good fit.  Gypsy can be cautious with new people and situations and will need time to feel safe in her new home. With patience and understanding, she slowly builds trust, and once she does, her gentle presence is incredibly rewarding. Her beautiful heterochromia—two different colored eyes—adds to her unique and delicate charm. Gypsy is looking for a patient, emotionally attuned adopter who values quiet companionship and is willing to let a bond develop naturally and at her pace. If your home is calm and your heart is patient, Gypsy may be a wonderful match for you. Applicants must live within a two-hour drive of Chicago. Nala (born December 26, 2023) is a petite, long-haired beauty with a big personality. Shes a little on the cranky side and definitely has opinions, but thats part of her charm! Once she gets to know you, shell happily accept back scratches, attention, and even show off her playful streak.Her funny mix of sass and sweetness makes her a truly one-of-a-kind companion. Nala isnt shy about letting you know when she wants her space, but when shes in the mood, she can be irresistibly sweet. She also has the cutest little meow, though shes usually pretty quiet and laid back.Because she likes things on her terms, Nala would do best as the only cat in a calm, adult-only home with someone who appreciates a cat with character. Molly Mittens was recently returned to Kindred Kitties, along with her sister Mabel, through no fault of her own. Their loving owner had to move into assisted living, and we were glad to welcome these sweet girls back into our care.Molly is a bashful but very gentle kitty who is slowly adjusting to life at our adoption center. She would be thrilled to find a forever home with her sister Mabel, but she would also do well on her own or with another friendly feline companion.
