Story
Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes! Leash trained Loves kids, but likely too boisterous for little ones Needs extra care at meal time Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Cinamon Female DOB: February 14, 2026 Weight: 10 lbs current (medium) Breed: Pharaoh Hound / Pit Bull mix Spayed (Fixed): Pending (age-appropriate) Vaccines: Pending (age-appropriate) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Cinamon is a calm, sweet puppy with a gentle personality and a soft, loving nature. She enjoys affection, cuddles, and quietly staying close to her people. While she still has playful puppy curiosity, she carries herself with a mellow energy that makes her especially easy to adore. As a Pharaoh Hound / Pit Bull Mix, Cinnamon will be an affectionate, intelligent, and athletic companion with a playful personality and a deep devotion to their family. This unique mix often combines the Pharaoh Hound's graceful athleticism, curiosity, and independent thinking with the Pit Bull's loyal, people-oriented nature and eagerness to please. The result is a dog that is both active and incredibly loving. These dogs thrive on companionship and enjoy being involved in everyday family life. They are happiest when they have opportunities to exercise, explore, and spend quality time with their people. With regular physical activity, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement training, they develop into confident, well-mannered companions who form strong, lasting bonds with their families. A Pharaoh Hound / Pit Bull Mix would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and outdoor adventures Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and family interaction A lifelong commitment to their emotional and physical well-being With patience, guidance, and plenty of love, a Pharaoh Hound / Pit Bull Mix grows into a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion who enjoys both active adventures and relaxing with the people they love. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue puppies come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, adopters should be prepared for: Potty training and accidents Teething and chewing stages Crate and leash training Nighttime wakeups and supervision Continued socialization and routine Cinamon will need: Positive reinforcement training Frequent potty breaks and supervision Patience and consistency Continued exposure to new people, places, and environments Routine and structure as she grows Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, puppies like Cinamon blossom into wonderful lifelong companions.
