Story
We are looking for a new home for our dog, Shadow. He is a German shepherd / lab mix. We have had him for five years and he has been the best dog and companion, he does however struggle with new visitors at home. We just had a newborn baby 4 weeks ago, and he isn’t adapting well, and we think this is the safest option for everyone. He is very driven and loves to play, go on walks and hikes. He would make a great companion for someone or be great on land for someone looking for more of a protection type dog. He is extremely smart and well trained (please see video). Amazing recall and does great in public settings. Housebroken, crate trained, ecollar trained. This is a heartbreaking decision for us so we are doing our best to find a good fitted home with someone who has experience with dogs, and has no small/ young children in the home. We are located in Arkansas but willing to travel for the right fit.
