Story
Meet Pretzel 🥨💛 Pretzel is an 8-month-old Shepherd/Chihuahua mix with the perfect blend of playful energy and sweet snuggles! Still just a puppy, she’s full of life, curiosity, and excitement for the world around her. This friendly girl loves everyone she meets — especially kids! She can get a little jumpy when she’s excited (she just can’t help herself!), but she also has a calm, cuddly side that makes her the perfect companion for cozy evenings. Pretzel absolutely loves to play — fetch is one of her favorite games — and she’s always ready for quality time with her people. Whether it’s running around the yard or curling up for snuggles, she’s happiest when she’s by your side. Pretzel is looking for her forever family — one that will embrace her playful spirit, continue guiding her as she grows, and give her all the love she deserves. In return, she’ll fill your home with joy, laughter, and lots of puppy kisses. 🐾💖 Pretzel would do best in a home with older children. All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Story
Meet Marshall! 🐾 Marshall is a one-of-a-kind 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who recently arrived at Butte Humane Society from Antioch Animal Services. What makes Marshall truly special is his unique build—he’s only about 2 feet tall. He may be short in stature, but his personality is pure big-dog energy. This sweet boy has a gentle, affectionate nature and wants to do all the things a big shepherd does—explore, learn, play, and be part of the action. Marshall is relatively dog friendly and may do well in a home with another dog. He would be a good fit for a family with children over 10 who can respect his space and enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a dog with a big heart, a fun personality, and a truly unforgettable look, Marshall might just be your perfect match. 📍 Available for adoption at Butte Humane Society 13391 Garner Lane, Chico, CA 📞 530-343-7917 All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses. Story
Meet Conner — a fun-loving, energetic young dog who’s ready to find an active home to call his own! 💙 Conner is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix (his age and breed are best guesses based on physical features and behavior). He’s a lively, playful guy with a big personality and a love for activity. Conner has some basic manners already and enjoys engaging with his people, especially during playtime and training sessions. Like many young, high-energy dogs, Conner can be vocal and a little mouthy when he’s very excited, but he continues to improve with structure, positive reinforcement, and regular outlets for his energy. A moderately experienced dog owner who enjoys working with energetic dogs would be an ideal match for him. Conner will do best in a home without young children. Conner would love a home with another friendly dog to play with and help meet his social and exercise needs. He’ll thrive with daily physical activity, ongoing training, and enrichment, and in return he’ll bring enthusiasm, companionship, and plenty of joyful energy. If you’re looking for a spirited, playful companion who’s ready to grow and learn alongside you, Conner may be the perfect addition to your pack 🐾 All dogs that are adopted from Butte Humane Society come microchipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, placed on preventions for heartworm, and flea and tick-borne illnesses.
