Story
Kia is a very sweet, loving dog. She is about two years old. Her birthday is on Christmas Day. My daughter took her for a friend who needed someone to take her immediately because she was moving. We have since discovered that we are not very good dog people we do not give her the time and love she deserves. She is obedient and house trained. She does jump up a little bit with some training. I think she could overcome that. we are looking for a forever home for her. Possibly somewhere where she can have a yard and be loved she is very lovable. she is also crate trained.

Story
She is a total love bug. She is not a ball girl more a tug a rope. She thinks she is a lap dog and always wants to snuggle. She is 100% crate trained and likes her creat to be covered. Is very VERY trainable and comes with a lifetime of free training from Fidelis K9 Training in Orangevale. I have paid in full ! she like to run and keeps a steady 11 mph or 8 as a light jog. I am not able to move that fast so I use a scooter and she loves it. She is trained to walk on your left side. She eats twice a day. Needs to pee first thing in the morning then #2 about an hour later. There is a bell on the front door she hits when she needs to go out. She doesnt like the rain. She doesn't like busy streets or big load trucks, she gets scared. She loves bones but get the big ones or they wont last. She is very pack minded and will always be where you are so set boundaries, she will listen.

Story
Meet Gia! Gia is a German Shepherd/Black Lab mix. age unknown, maybe 6 or 7 years. Gia is looking for a loving forever home. She would really like to be in a house with a family and a yard. Ideally this house would not have any cats, although she would be good with a certain type of cat. Gia loves people and children. She is very loving and sweet. And very cuddly. She is also VERY well-behaved. She is potty-trained and would never do her business inside. She doesn't bark or bite. She doesn't chew or destroy furniture. She is (almost) a completely perfect family dog! Gia loves rawhides and loves to sleep on the bed, although she is good sleeping on the floor too. She mostly loves spending time with her people. She is very low maintenance. Everyone who meets Gia loves her. Her former owner is a sweet elderly woman who just can't take care of her anymore. The time I have spent with this special beautiful creature has been very rewarding. She warms my grumpy heart.

To apply or learn more, go to: https://www.heartsforpawsrescue.com/219873/2025/11/11/bravo Meet Bravo! German Shepherd • Male • 3.5 years old Currently being fostered in Davis, CA. Bravo is a sweet, affectionate German Shepherd who was recently rescued from Yolo County shelter has been steadily coming out of his shell in foster care. We are excited to get to know him better as his personality shines! Here is what his foster says so far: He gets so excited to see his people, greeting them with happy energy and enthusiasm. Once he trusts you, he truly bonds. ~ Out & About: • Walks beautifully on leash • Absolutely loves squirrels • Not reactive to other distractions • Has seen dogs from a distance and showed no aggression or over-interest ~ At Home: • Cries a little when left alone and may bark occasionally (normal adjustment behavior) • Enjoys playtime and knows fetch, sit, and lay down • Eats well — more of a grazer and no food aggression • Loves interaction and companionship ~ Personality Notes: Bravo can be a tad unsure of new people at first if someone gets in his space too quickly. He does best with calm, respectful introductions and people who understand shepherd communication and boundaries. ~ Ideal Home: • Shepherd-savvy or experienced dog owners preferred • Adults or older teens who can respect space • Patient, confident handler who enjoys building trust • Continued training will help him thrive (he’s smart and eager!) Bravo is a loving, playful, loyal boy who just needs the right environment to shine. If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are willing to go slow at first, Bravo will reward you with endless loyalty. $250 Adoption Donation includes: Neuter, Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella, and microchip Interested in adopting? 1. Story
Clay is a 4 year old neutered male livestock guardian/shepherd mix. He loves people more than anything. He is good with cats and small dogs. He is okay with some large dogs and not others. He has not been observed around young kids. Clay is medium energy. He loves to run and play as well as cuddle and nap. He is still building confidence in new situations and with new people. He is very shy in public. At home, he is confident and always wants to be by his person's side. He will need someone willing to go slowly when introducing him to new people, animals and experiences. Clay was found on the streets of Modesto as a stray. No one claimed him. He was set to be euthanized at the shelter due to overpopulation before we took him. At the shelter, he was terrified and kept to himself in the corner, shut down in fear. In his foster home, he is lively and social.
