Story

Richard is a sweet dog who needs a very patient child-free home to spend the rest of his years. Before we had him he had 4 previous owners and was returned to the shelter due to his skin issues. He is very itchy, we have tried everything, different tests, vets, treatments nothing has worked for this poor guy. We recently had a baby and don’t have the means to give him the proper care he needs. Other than his skin issues he is easy to please, motivated by food & just wants to sleep all day and go outside. He is not an aggressive dog but does not like people in his face, will growl and will bite after giving warning. We would love to keep him but with having an infant in our house we had to make the hard decision to rehome him. Willing to answer any questions and appreciate any interest in our little guy.

This Is Ruby, I was given her by a neighbor who moved out and could no longer care for her however she has separation anxiety and doesn’t do well with my 12hr work shift schedule and needs someone who can spend more time with her then I am able to. She’s very sweet and energetic!

Kona is a 5yr old Pitsky (Husky/Pitbull) looking for a patient, loving, and attentive home. She has the sweetest heart and has been raised around children her entire life. However she does have extreme separation anxiety and will need a family that will be able to fully understand and accommodate to her needs. Kona was brought into my life at 16yrs old as a puppy after begging my parents for a dog. I am now 23 with 2 children raising my own family. We have truly grown together, she has been with me through it all. It is with an extreme heavy heart that I have had to make this decision to rehome my first baby. Because of her anxiety, we are looking for a family that can be with her majority of the time. Proper veterinary care is important as medication is most likely required to manage her anxiety. Looking to find the perfect forever home for this sweet girl. ❤️ She is approximately 1–2 years old (per her vet) and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. She was just seen by the vet and is healthy. She absolutely loves to cuddle, play, and be around her people. She still has that fun puppy energy and would thrive with someone who can give her plenty of love and attention. She does well with older children. She can become irritated when very young children are rough with her, but she has never bitten or hurt anyone in my home. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but she does not do well with barriers (such as fences) between her and other animals, as she gets frustrated. When she’s able to interact appropriately, she plays well. This has been a very difficult decision, and I’m committed to finding her a safe, loving home where she’ll be happy. Looking to rehome our sweet girl. She is 5 years old, we got her from her previous owner who had her since she was 8 weeks. She came from a multi dog home, she loves people and kids, I'm not sure how she is with toddlers. My neighbors have dogs and she gets along with them, however, she seems to be depressed when periods go without seeing them. We got her as a companion for my son but she bonded with me and I travel for work and this is affecting her. We have a large yard that is not fenced in and within two days of having her she knew her parameters and never leaves the yard. She loves to lay outside and is a bit of a couch potato. She will be truly missed by my family but she seems unhappy and as an animal lover, her happiness is more important than ours. We've never had any issue with her, other than the fact she will chase a cat. All of her shots were done last month, so she is up to date on everything. I feel it would be best if she was in a home with other dogs or family.
