Story
Cherry has lived with me for two and a half years and will turn three this July. During our time together, she was always well-behaved. I never had children or other dogs in my home, and she was obedient with me. However, after my separation, I lost my house and had to move into a no-pet apartment. A friend kindly took Cherry in, hoping to help her adapt. The challenge is that my friend has both another dog and children at home. Unfortunately, Cherry did not respond well: she became aggressive toward the other dog and lunged at the children. This makes the situation unsafe, so she needs a home where she will not be exposed to children or other pets. Aside from this, Cherry is very intelligent and responsive to training. She was house-trained, always did her business in the right spot, and was crate-trained, sleeping calmly in her crate at night. I’m hoping this description will help Cherry find a suitable home quickly, as my friend cannot keep her an any longer and I am in a no-pet apt
