Story
Bella, who is 8 years old was My Uncles dog who passed away 2 days ago. Even though we had never met her we were able to go in and take her from his home over 6 weeks ago when he became ill. My Son and Daughter are home on Christmas break and she has adapted well to our family. She is sweet and loves to play. She is crate trained We walk her twice a day and she has not been aggressive towards other people when we pass them. She is aggressive towards other dogs. She is agressive towards our family dog which is a golden doodle. We are considering a 3 week board and train to help with her agression towards other dogs. She loves attention and is very sweet with people. New Owner would need to have a fenced in back yard and not have any other pets for me to allow her to be adopted. She is used to being with one owner who gave her all his attention and she is spoiled in that way. She also is crate trained and does not mind going into her crate when you leave.

German Shepherd Dog English Bulldog

Size

Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Jiggles is a 3-year-old mixed with German Shepherd, English Bulldog and Boxer. She is young but has the personality of an older dog who just wants to nap and sunbathe. She is a couch potato but will play for small periods of time and is very good on the leash. She doesn't pull and will even walk beside you without a leash. She is not reactive to other dogs in public and does great on car rides. She would be best as an only dog with no children under 5 because she likes to have all of the attention. She is also not fond of infants. She has lived with a child 6+ for most of her life with no issue. Her tendency to hoard attention likely stems from spending her first year of life in a shelter where they kept her in a kennel and were not able to give her any human attention. She is completely house trained (no accidents) and has no chewing issues. She is well behaved as long as she gets cuddles every day.

Story
Twilight’s story begins on the streets of Mexico, where this calm and gentle shepherd mix learned to survive with quiet resilience. Despite everything he’s been through, Twilight has held onto his soft heart and sweet spirit. He may be bashful at first, taking a little time to feel safe with new people, but once he does, you’ll discover a truly caring, affectionate, and loyal boy. Twilight isn’t demanding—he’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be near you, offering quiet companionship and love. This handsome guy is happiest in a secure, fenced yard where he can explore at his own pace, take in the fresh air, and feel safe in his surroundings. His favorite pastimes include chewing on his bone, stretching out in a sunny patch for a nap, and enjoying calm moments with the people he trusts. Twilight is the perfect match for a patient, gentle family who appreciates a peaceful companion and understands that the best bonds grow slowly and beautifully. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted friend who will fill your home with warmth and quiet love, Twilight is ready to shine in your life. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $200 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org. ##2492045##

Story
Remy was adopted from the Humane Society when she was just a pup. She is sweet, calm, loving, playful, fun, and loves to sleep. Unfortunately with our new busy schedule and downsizing when we moved, we are looking to rehome her. She needs someone who loves to take walks, someone preferably with a fenced in yard because she loves outside time, and someone who will love and care for her. She is great with kids and other animals!

Story
Layla is a sweet, very playful pup. She is a neglected female, about 55 to 65 lbs; she turned 1 year old on 11/29/24. ** Trainer by Bark Buster available if desired. ** She does follow some commands but, clever and often hard-headed to do this with consistency. Eats well between 5-6 pm. Completed 1st or 2nd heat cycle on 10/14. Spay appointment scheduled for 1/2/26; will still require LOTS of chew toys and attention! Motivated by food. She is finally acclimated to life with my 7 year old unneutered 152 lb Presa canario and 37 lb 13 year old Terrier mix. This has taken 3 months. I have had both since they were 8 weeks old. Both have a very calm temperament and initially disrupted by her very playful behavior. However house training has improved much. She requires a lot of time and energy, particularly for me over 65 with a recent TKR. Want to avoid kill-sites; all no-kill facilities have been full for some time now. Hopefully a permanent home presents sooner than later.

Story
Pluto was given to my youngest son as a gift from his aunt. His aunt has the mom, dad and brother, however, could not keep that many dogs in her house. Pluto is one year & a couple of months old. He was born February 26, 2025. Pluto is a in house dog who needs to go for good walks at least three times a day. We are looking for a home that has ample secure backyard space in the ability to handle his husky howling and need for attention. My son recently went off to college and was not able to take Pluto with him. Pluto is an energetic, loving, playful, mixed breed.
