Coco is a beautiful, energetic soul who has brought so much love and laughter into our home. Adopted from a shelter, she has truly been a blessing — playful, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day. Coco has a sweet spirit and a big heart. She’s wonderful with kids, great with other animals, and thrives on attention, cuddles, and playtime. Duncan is a BIG love bug. He loves being with his people and going on hikes. He’s got a lot of energy so he would be best suited for an active household. He does not do well with cats or young children but he hasn’t shown aggression towards other dogs. With some training and patience he could make a great companion.

Story
This is my handsome grey pit bull who is looking for a new forever home. He has the biggest heart and so much love to give. He’s loyal, affectionate, and loves being close to his people. If you’re sitting down, he’ll probably be right next to you (or trying to be in your lap!). He’s playful and enjoys toys, walks, and outdoor time, but he also loves to relax and just hang out. He’s protective in the best way — he bonds deeply with his family and just wants to feel safe and loved. I’m looking for a responsible, patient owner who understands the breed and can give him the time, attention, and stability he deserves. He would do best in a home where he can get regular exercise and lots of affection. This decision hasn’t been easy, and I truly just want the best life possible for him. If you or someone you know can offer a safe, loving home, please reach out. 💕

Story
We originally adopted Saint from a family who owned both of Saint’s parents. He has a lot of energy and likes to run. We would love to keep him but do not have the space for him to run in a fenced in backyard. We’d love to see him go to a family that is adventurous and enjoys nature, as he loves to go to the dog park to exert his energy. He also loves laying around in the living space to watch movies with our family. He is a loving dog and is very loyal.

Story
YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Shellie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m sure happy to be here and thankful for a second chance at living a great life!  I’m ready to find my new family and have some fun as well as show them what a great companion I’ll be. I was adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t a good fit as I did not like the cat and I need to work on my food and toy possessiveness which I’m doing now with my trainer.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and did not like the females, but did well with the males, so if you have a male dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I met a cat in a temporary home, and we learned that I should not live with cats due to my strong prey drive. (No cats were harmed in this discovery.) / There was an 11-year-old in my foster home, and I did great with them (they knew not to take things away from me), but more mature kids - aged 15+ that will follow the rules that work for me would be best, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My former foster described me as a loving friend who gave lots of kisses and was also a bit ‘mouthy’ like a puppy! I was delightful for the Mostly Mutts photographer as I showed how much I enjoyed cuddling and being in a lap. A very sweet and lovable friend, I’m looking forward to showering my family with love! I am a bit possessive of my food, toys and anything in my mouth and there was 1 bite related to this, so I’ve been working on it with my trainer, who has implemented controlled locations for my meals, as well as accompanying commands – so please just ask about this. My trainer also taught me the command ‘drop it’ to trade my toys and bones for a high value treat.  / Energy level: 5-7, though a bit higher in my temp. foster home, so I’ll want to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. My trainer is working with me on my possessive behaviors as there was 1 bite related to this.  I’ve since learned to trade a toy for a treat and my trainer would be happy to talk to and work with you on this.  Mostly Mutts recommends a trainer to continue my training after adoption. / I am described as pretty relaxed in my crate and I did well in my two temp. homes, too. / I did really well with my potty manners in my foster home with no accidents as well as two temp. homes I was in for a few days.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love going for walks, playing with toys, chasing tennis balls, cuddling and being in laps as well as getting my head and ears scratched and my tummy rubbed.  I also like pawing at my people’s feet lol. / I can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so I do best when given time to approach at my own pace — if rushed, I may choose to run and hide.  See personality/skills section of my profile and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love that will follow the rules that have been established to help me be successful! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 16, 2026, 11:52 am
