Story
Hello my name is Antonio and this is Loki, who is a 6 year old male around 75 lbs. He is a german shepherd husky mix and I got him from a breeder in Chattanooga about 6 years ago. I need to rehome Loki because my GF developed allergies and he is not compatible with my young puppies. I am looking to match him with a new home without other small dogs with more space and time to dedicate to him. Behavior wise Loki is weary and apprehensive of new people. He likes indoor outdoor settings and is used to being boarded while I travel for work. He is house trained loves belly rubs, laying on his favorite people and to be pet often 🙂. Please let me know if you are able to help, (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Meet Sonny, a charming 6-year-old German Shepherd mix currently seeking his forever home. This handsome fellow was discovered as a stray and brought to the shelter on 02/19/2024. Sonny is a large pup, tipping the scales at 74 lbs, with a demeanor as sweet as can be. His soft, cotton-like coat invites endless cuddles, and his eyes radiate nothing but love and affection. Despite his recent adventures Sonny remains remarkably calm and composed, embodying the epitome of loyalty and companionship. One of Sonny's many talents includes his impeccable leash manners and his willingness to obey commands, making him a joy to walk and spend time with. However, his journey hasn't been without its challenges. Sonny is currently undergoing treatment for a painful ear infection, but rest assured, our dedicated staff veterinarian is providing him with the care and attention he deserves. He also tested positive for heartworms, but has completed treatment at the shelter and now is nearly good as new. Dogs who are treated for heartworms usually go on to live long and healthy lives. If you're in search of a faithful companion who will shower you with love and devotion, look no further than Sonny. He is current on vaccines and neutered. Come meet Sonny today at kennel #56 (ID#653796) and discover the true meaning of unconditional love. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. Story
Meet handsome Farley! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/23, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing Farley, he seems to be well taken care of and his coat is clean and beautiful. Farley is now hoping his new forever family is out there and will welcome him home any day now. The volunteers describe Farley as friendly, treat-motivated, and energetic. For being a senior, Farley sure doesn't act like it; he has lots of pep left in his step! Farley is approximately 8 years old, and he weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Farley in run 87; his ID # is 653872.
