Libby is a sweet, playful 8–9-month-old dog looking for her forever family. She came to us unexpectedly after a friend’s neighbor threatened to have her euthanized if no one could foster her. Since coming into our care, Libby has thrived. She is fully up to date on her vaccines and, after spending much of her early life on a chain or in a crate, now enjoys plenty of freedom to play and explore. She sleeps in her crate at night while everyone is in bed, and during the day she runs in our fenced yard and explores our home. Libby is remarkably well-adjusted, happy, and affectionate. She gets along with every dog she has met and loves people, too. She will likely remain a high-energy girl, so she needs an adopter who can provide regular exercise, attention, playtime, and guidance. Our senior cat is too low-energy for her, and our 3-year-old dog prefers to be an only dog, so we are seeking a better long-term match for Libby.

He loves people, is great with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. He’s full of love and just wants to be around his family. He’s neutered, house-trained, and crate-trained, and he knows sit, lay down, and paw. He would really thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he has room to run, play, and get all the love he deserves, or someone to take him on walks or the dog park. Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX)

At 5 years old, this boy apparently never got the memo that he’s supposed to be an adult! Give him some room to run and you’ll see him zooming across the field and bounding around like a puppy who just discovered his legs. And then there’s his favorite activity… BELLY RUBS! Aries absolutely loves them and has even perfected his adoption-event strategy: roll over, expose the belly, and wait for the rubs to begin! He knows exactly how to charm the crowd. Aries can pull a little on leash when he first heads out, but give him about 15 minutes and he settles into a nice walk. He’s a big boy with a big heart who loves attention and affection. The hardest part about Aries? He has been waiting at the rescue for 3 YEARS for someone to choose him. He has so much love to give and is still hoping that his forever person will finally walk through the door. If your heart has room for a big, goofy, happy, long-legged cuddlebug, Aries is waiting for you. Maybe after three long years, it’s finally his turn to go home.
