Story
Meet Damian! Damian is a handsome 2-year-old Husky mix with striking looks and a curious, intelligent spirit to match. True to his Husky roots, he’s alert, expressive, and always eager to see what’s going on around him. He has that wonderful balance of playful energy and thoughtful independence that makes this breed so special. Damian enjoys staying active and would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. He’s a smart boy who loves engaging with his people and would do well with someone who enjoys training, outdoor adventures, or simply spending quality time together. At just two years old, Damian is past the puppy stage but still young enough to grow and learn with his forever family. With structure, patience, and love, he has all the potential to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. Damian is ready to find a home where he can feel secure, loved, and part of the family. If you’re looking for an intelligent, energetic, and devoted friend, Damian may be the perfect match for you. Fill out a Match Me form online at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CAST/Dog to be preapproved. All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love. Our adoption fee is a minimum $150 tax deductible donation. All donations are used for rescue and medical care of animals in need. Story
Hi! My name is Luna and I am a 4 year old dog who loves to hunt, play chase, and run around outside all day! I have a lot of love to give for humans of all ages and I love to protect them by being an excellent guard dog! I also enjoy car rides and going on walks. I can sit, lie down, and even shake your hand! Adopt me if you’re looking for a playmate who will never be short on love. Notes: Luna does best in a fenced in yard either alone or with a large dog. She should not be mixed with small dogs, cats, or farm animals in her designated space. She does well with both adults and children. *NOT HOUSEBROKEN* crate trained and outdoor only. Any introduction to house training should be done gradually with an experienced GSD adopter. Please note: Luna is not fit for service dog needs.

Story
Bo was given to us by a young couple that told us they could no longer keep him. For the first week he did extremely well in our house. After that he began trying to put dominance over our female dog and repeatedly mounting her. She is a small frenchie that has been thru a very traumatic past before we got her. She is terrified and when we try to pull him off of her he growls at me. Again I think this is a dominance thing. He never shows aggression when he is just relaxing. Only when told not to do something. I think this could be helped if he is neutered or in a home with no other dogs. He seems to do better with other big dogs he cannot just bully around. We are not asking a rehoming fee. We just want him to go to a good family and have a good life. We also think he would do well with a big yard. He does have papers and those will be included as well as his brushes and toys.
