Story
We got her from the animal control shelter. She came to us very skittish and nervous. I, the adult, have been able to interact with her well as I have a calmer demeanor. With my daughter, the interactions are not negative in a dangerous way – it’s more that my daughter is very high energy and loud, which has caused the dog to retreat from my daughter and seem scared. She would thrive in a predictable, calm environment, with low activity. She has been good with other kids who are not loud and very high energy – doesn’t retreat in a scared sense. So not terrible with kids – just doesn’t do well with loud and high energy. She is a sweet dog; she gets her person and will be by your side. Only looking to rehome her as it's become upsetting for my daughter that the dog won't come to her and stay with her. Millie is a pit mix is what I was told, unsure with what and they couldn't determine. Estimated to be about to be around 10 months now.

Story
Rufus is a sweet, loving boy who is 5 years old and will be turning 6 on December 1st. He’s a German Shepherd/Blue Heeler mix with a BIG personality and even bigger energy. ❤️ Since having our baby, we unfortunately haven’t been able to give Rufus the time and activity he deserves. He is a very high-energy dog and would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and can take him on regular walks, adventures, and activities. Rufus is trained and knows his commands, although he could use a little continued work. He absolutely LOVES people and sometimes gets so excited to say hello that he jumps up on them. He has a very loving personality and just needs someone who can continue working with him and give him the structure, exercise, and attention he needs. We want to find him a home where he can truly thrive and where his energy can be appreciated rather than feeling like he isn’t getting enough from us. This is a very difficult decision, but we believe finding the right home.
