Hello! My name is George!I have been staying at the Guelph Humane Society since November 2023. I'm excitedly waiting for my new family to come along and take me home. I am a fun boy who loves training. When I get excited, I can be jumpy. But I'm doing well with training. I know how to sit without even being asked! And I'm learning lots of other cool tricks. I am pretty good at fetch and I love to go for long walks. I would make a fantastic hiking partner!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: Teenagers could be ok. No small children.OTHER DOGS: Potentially, depending on the dog. I seem to be scared of dogs upon first meeting. Once I warm up, I can be playful but I'm a bit awkward. My GHS friends think I haven't had much experience socializing with other dogs. Hello, my name is Valentina!I am a playful, silly girl whose idea of a good time is tossing around a good stuffy toy or going for a long walking adventure. I am very affectionate and snuggly with my humans. I can be a bit nervous of new people but warm up pretty quickly. I don't enjoy handling such as nail trims or vet exams. I am looking for a home that will work with me to help that be a more comfortable experience. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: No young children. Teenagers should be ok.OTHER DOGS: No, I don't think I would enjoy living with another dog as I don't like when they hover in my space, however, I have done well going for walks with other dogs. I'm a friendly girl who is pretty easy-going. I enjoy cuddling up on the couch after a good walking adventure.
