Story
This is Bruno! He's a 5-year-old pitbull who's only ever known one owner. Because he grew up as an only dog, with no mom he's not very comfortable and gets aggressive around other dogs or cats, and can be a bit avoidant rather than aggressive when meeting new people. He's also a very anxious dog and gets scared easily, which can also come across as aggression. Bruno recently tore his ACL on his left back leg, which we're told is pretty common for pitbulls that could be another reason for the aggressiveness due to pain. He really needs a loving home that can show him the world isn't so scary because he is a sweet energetic boy. He's not a fan of nail trims, but he loves baths, love loves the water and ear cleanings, and finds comfort in suckling on a blanket.

**I'm part of the Fall In Love Adoption Event. My adoption fee is half off!** Phantom wants to be loved for himself. He is a bashful pup who is ready to meet his best friend. He is house trained and has a good grasp on basic commands. He would do better in a quiet home with no children or older children. He gets along with other dogs and with proper introduction would do alright with cats. "We went on a quick walk around my block. Phantom did good. We went back to my house and he was able to relax and took a nap on my couch! He is a super sweet and gentle guy." - A Daytrip Volunteer.
