Story
Meet Rogue, a four year old Husky mix weighing 51 pounds.Rogue is the kind of dog who seems to wake up every morning convinced it`s going to be the best day ever. This handsome boy has stunning ice-blue eyes, a goofy personality, and enough enthusiasm to keep a smile on your face all day long.Playful and outgoing, Rogue loves making friends wherever he goes. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys romping, wrestling, and showing off his impressive zoomies. He also did well with his finder`s small children, proving that his fun-loving personality extends to people of all ages.Rogue is a smart boy, too! He already knows `sit` and `down,` and because he`s highly treat motivated, he`s eager to keep learning. Squeaky toys are another favorite, and he`s always ready for a game or an adventure. We suspect Rogue has Husky in his background, and he certainly shares many of the traits that make the breed so beloved. Huskies are known for being social, intelligent, energetic dogs who thrive on activity and companionship. They love having a job to do, enjoy outdoor adventures, and are happiest when they`re included as part of the family. If you`re looking for a dog who will keep you active, make you laugh with his goofy antics, and greet every day with excitement, Rogue may be your perfect match. With his bright blue eyes, playful spirit, and endless optimism, this lovable goober is ready to find a family of his own. This pet is available for adoption on 4/20/2026 4:39 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Story
Meet Molly, a one-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix weighing 50 pounds.Molly is a gentle sweetheart looking for a family ready to show her just how wonderful life can be. She came to us as a stray alongside Mia, and when she first arrived, so much of the world was still brand new and a little overwhelming for her.At first, Molly was unsure about new places, new experiences, and even simple everyday things. With time, patience, and care, she has made incredible progress and her true personality is starting to shine. She is a sweet, soft-natured girl who is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.Molly has blossomed into a wonderful companion. She now enjoys going for walks and has discovered that exploring the world with her people can be a lot of fun! She does well in a crate, uses a dog door like a pro, and did great with potty training in a home environment. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and plays well with her canine friends.Molly is a food-loving girl who gets very excited about mealtime! She enjoys her meals so much that she may try to help herself to another dog`s food if given the opportunity, so her future family will want to keep an eye on unattended bowls. While Molly may still need some reassurance as she continues building confidence, she has shown how much she is capable of learning and growing. She has an eager-to-please personality and responds beautifully to patience, gentle guidance, and positive experiences.Molly is a kind, loving girl who has already come so far. She’s ready for a family who will continue cheering her on and showing her that she is finally safe, loved, and home. This pet is available for adoption on 5/21/2026 2:59 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
