Fun fact: This playful pup likes to use his nose to roll his toys to you when he’s telling you he wants to play catch
Foster home: Madison, WI
Activity level: Low
Friendly with: Dogs, Cats and Older Kids. He can present as weary of new dog friends or kids who may bump into him. Once he gets his bearings he’s much more comfortable :)
Sleep style: He sleeps on a dog bed near his people or solo (doesn’t come onto furniture)
Meals: 10 oz of raw food twice daily helps control his IMPA
Medical needs: Leo has IMPA (Immune Mediated Polyarthritis) which is kept under control by diet and meds. He prefers calm dogs and older kids who aren’t at risk of bump into him often
Meds: Carprofen and Gabepentin twice daily, Ursolyx once daily (estimated cost is $70 monthly)
