I got him from the vet when he was still young, all energy and curiosity. I wanted a cat I could grow old with, and from the beginning he made himself impossible not to love. He lives for playtime. If there's a wand toy in sight, he's ready. If a laser dot appears, he's instantly locked in. He can turn an ordinary afternoon into an event just by deciding it’s time to play. For all that energy, he’s also deeply affectionate. He loves being held and rocked. Sometimes he’ll walk right up to me while I’m working, climb into my arms, and settle in like that’s exactly where he belongs. It’s one of his favorite things in the world.
