Hi there… I’m Hercules 🧡🐾I’m a sweet and gentle 2-year-old orange tabby with a big heart and a playful spirit. True to my name, I may not be lifting mountains, but I am strong in love, charm, and keeping life fun. 💪😸Before coming to the shelter, I was out on my own, abandoned and trying to figure things out. Luckily, I found my way to the doorstep of a kind family who took me in, fed me, and showed me what it meant to be cared for. They loved me very much, but due to health issues and aging, they made the difficult decision to bring me here so I could find the forever home I deserve. 💕I’m a curious and playful boy who loves to explore every corner of my world. Give me a wire feather toy or a kitty tunnel, and I’m off zooming and pouncing like it’s my full-time job. And yes… I proudly live up to the orange kitty reputation — I make sure there’s never a dull moment when I’m around. 😹I mostly prefer the indoor life (hello comfy living!), but I do have some outdoor experience too. I’m also a phenomenal mouser and bug catcher, always ready to handle any tiny intruders that might sneak in. 🐭🐞One of my favorite things to do is climb up to the highest perch on the cat tree by the window, where I can birdwatch and survey my kingdom like the little ruler I am. 🐦👑I get along great with other cats, I’m good with kiddos, and I’m a very tidy boy — I always use my litter box and keep things nice and clean. Hi… I’m Bugs Bunny 🐰🐾I’m a sweet grey and white kitty, about 2 years old and weighing around 9 pounds. I may look a little shy at first, but there’s a gentle and charming little guy inside me who’s just waiting for the right home to help him bloom. 🤍 My life didn’t start out very easy. I was one of 43 cats rescued from a hoarding situation, and for most of my early life I lived in a small indoor cage. Because of that, I’m still learning about all the wonderful things the world has to offer — like having a whole house to explore, soft beds to nap on, and toys to chase. Every day I’m figuring out how to be a cat, and it’s a pretty big adventure. In my previous home, I was picked on by some of the other cats, and I have a little scar on the back of my neck where the fur doesn’t grow back. It’s just a reminder of where I came from — but it doesn’t stop me from moving forward and hoping for a kinder future. 💙I have a very gentle nature and do great with people who have special needs, and I get along well with other cats. I haven’t been tested with younger children yet, but because I’m such a calm and sweet boy, I would likely do well with kids who are gentle and respectful. I tend to feel safest when I have a low, cozy hidey hole where I can tuck myself in and quietly watch the world around me. I’m still learning to fully accept affection and don’t quite seek it out yet, and being held isn’t my favorite thing right now. But with a patient and loving home, the shelter staff believe I will slowly blossom and let my true personality shine. 🌼One thing I already know I love? Treats. Those are a great way to win my heart. 😸 I’m also a very tidy boy — I always use my litter box and never make a mess, and I’m great for nail trims too. What I need most is a calm, patient home where I can take my time learning that people can be kind and that the world can be safe. With love and understanding, I know I’ll grow into the wonderful companion I’m meant to be.
