Story
This sweet senior cat came into care after his guardian passed away and family was unable to care for him. He came in with his bonded buddy, Mini Pearl, and they are both 15 years old, so they will need to be adopted together. Both have sleek black hair coats and are friendly and affectionate. Mini Pearl has hyperthyroidism and will need a daily medication, which is fairly inexpensive. Both are fairly low maintenance and are just looking for a quiet retirement home.Schmoly is a pretty chill dude who would love a calm home to spend his golden years in. He and Mini Pearl would likely do best in a home without other cats, or at least without young, energetic ones.If you have space in your home and in your hearts to give them the love they need please fill out an application below:https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-shuswap/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 6.06 Age: 15yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Meet Chuck! 🩶This handsome 5-year-old grey tabby has had a bit of a rough start in life, but despite whatever challenges he's faced, Chuck has remained a friendly, affectionate guy who is more than ready for a fresh start.Originally brought in as a stray before being transferred into our care, Chuck has quickly shown us what a sweet companion he can be. He loves attention, enjoys being petted, and is always happy to spend time with his people. One of his favorite pastimes is stretching out by a window and watching the world go by, making him the perfect companion for anyone who appreciates life's quieter moments.Underneath his rugged exterior is a cat who is simply looking for a place to belong. We haven't had the opportunity to see how Chuck does with other cats yet, but with slow, proper introductions, living with a feline friend may be a possibility.Chuck is currently waiting for his neuter and dental surgery appointments, so he is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program in the meantime. This means you could welcome him into your home now while he waits for his remaining veterinary care.If you're looking for a loyal companion who enjoys affection, sunny windows, and a cozy place to call home, Chuck might just be your guy. Please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: Grey Tabby Weight: 4.92 Age: 5yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
Meet Lizzy 🖤Lizzy is a lovely 15-year-old black cat with a gentle heart and a friendly, social personality. Many years ago, she was in care while raising a litter of kittens, and sadly she recently found herself back in need after being found as a stray.Despite her age, Lizzy is doing wonderfully and still has plenty of love to give. She adores attention, absolutely loves belly rubs, and enjoys spending time with her people. She's an easygoing, affectionate companion who would make a wonderful addition to a quiet, loving home.Lizzy is also good with cats and would likely do well with another calm, respectful feline friend who is happy to coexist and give her space when needed. As a senior girl, she'll benefit from the extra love and care that comes with her golden years. She does have some discoloration in one eye that has been examined by a veterinarian and is not currently a concern, but her future family should continue to monitor it and consult their veterinarian if anything changes. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate senior cat with lots of love left to share, Lizzy may be the perfect match. 🖤🐾Please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 3.15 Age: 15yrs 0mths 4wks
