Story
This sweet senior cat came into care after his guardian passed away and family was unable to care for him. He came in with his bonded buddy, Mini Pearl, and they are both 15 years old, so they will need to be adopted together. Both have sleek black hair coats and are friendly and affectionate. Mini Pearl has hyperthyroidism and will need a daily medication, which is fairly inexpensive. Both are fairly low maintenance and are just looking for a quiet retirement home.Schmoly is a pretty chill dude who would love a calm home to spend his golden years in. He and Mini Pearl would likely do best in a home without other cats, or at least without young, energetic ones.If you have space in your home and in your hearts to give them the love they need please fill out an application below:https://spca.bc.ca/survey/cat-adoption-application-shuswap/ Primary Color: Black Weight: 5.8 Age: 15yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Meet Mallory! At 12 years old, Mallory is a sweet torbie looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy her senior years in comfort. She has been thriving in foster care, where her affectionate personality has truly come out. Once settled, she is a devoted lap cat who loves cozy blankets, sunny spots, and being close to her people.Mallory thrives on routine and would do best in a quiet, predictable home. She enjoys window watching, scratching posts, and the occasional toy, but her favourite thing is spending quality time with her person. She also has a chatty side and isn't shy about letting you know when it's mealtime or when she's ready for attention. She is affectionate and loving, but does appreciate having her boundaries respected and enjoys affection on her terms. Once she trusts you, she is a very loyal and sweet companion.Mallory is hyperthyroid and takes medication twice daily, which she handles very well. Her ideal home will be committed to her routine and ongoing care. She would prefer to be the only cat in the home so she can fully relax and soak up all the attention. If you're looking for a gentle senior companion with personality, Mallory may be the perfect match. Please submit an application through the link below!https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Torbie Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.36 Age: 12yrs 3mths 2wks

Story
Meet Oliver! At 16 years old, this charming gentleman is ready to settle into his well-earned retirement.Does anyone have some unconditional love to give an old man who enjoys the simple pleasures in life-a cozy bed, a sunny window, gentle affection, and even the occasional adventure? Oliver has recently started harness training and has been thoroughly enjoying his outdoor adventure time, taking in all the sights and smells at his own pace. He also has a funny little crooked, kinked tail that only adds to his character and charm.Like many seniors, Oliver has a few age-related health concerns. He has a heart murmur and his kidneys aren't quite what they used to be, but he still has a great sense of humor, a good appetite, a love for splashing around in his water bowl, and a chatty, social outlook on life.Oliver would prefer to be the only cat in his kingdom, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. If you think you might have a soft spot for Oliver to land, please consider coming to meet him.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/ Primary Color: Orange Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 4.42 Age: 16yrs 2mths 1wks
