If you are looking for a funny, entertaining cat, Chex may be the boy for you! Chex may be a little goofy… But that’s what makes him so unique! He LOVES wet food (and gets hangry without it…!!) Upon first meeting Chex, he may seem a little crazy. His meow is very distinct and his somewhat “hyper” behavior may seem intimidating. But once he warms up to you (and you give him wet food, of course!) he is a total love bug! He really enjoys cuddling in the lap’s of those he chooses “worthy” of his presence! All this boy needs is a calm, loving home and someone who loves him for all of his little quirks. He would do best in a home without cats, as he enjoys being the center of your world! :-) He is around 5 years old and has spent 3 of those in the shelter. He is in a cage most of the day, as he doesn't do well with most other cats. Please, if you want an awesome cat that has A LOT of personality, fill out an application for Chex. Boardwalk came to the shelter at 2 months old. Yes, 2 months old. She has been at our shelter for her whole life- All 6 years of it. She has bloomed into a beautiful adult cat and would like to experience life in a real home. She is currently 6 years old and has beautiful green eyes. She is great with other cats. She is timid, so she would love to go to a patient home that will give her time to warm up. After 6 years of watching all of her friends get adopted, this sweet girl deserves to have a family to call her own! If you have visited our shelter in within the last year or so and have needed to use the restroom then you might have met this beautiful girl. This kitty is Mama and she loves hanging out in the sink in the restroom. She sits patiently waiting for the faucet to drip or for someone to turn the faucet on so she can enjoy the water. She will keep her watchful eyes on you while you do your business in hopes you will turn the water on. Mama has been at the shelter for 3 years waiting for an adopter. She is one of our free roaming residents and she would love a home with other kitties. Her adoption fee is $25 if anyone needs a cat that hangs out in the bathroom sink. She is 6 years old and a very friendly lady. She is not a big fan of dogs, she would do better with other cats in the household. She does enjoy sitting on your lap and getting pets...
