Pixiebob kittens & cats in Pineville, Louisiana

Penelope was stuck up a tree and emaciated badly after losing her first litter of kittens due to premature birth and her underweight condition. We got her down with a food bag being shaken, and realized she was only skin and bones. We took her in and kept her in the master bathroom, where we have tried to put some weight on her and get her used to humans. We have 9 cats of our own and the balance between our 9 is very tricky to keep so we cannot keep her, but she is extremely sweet. She hisses a lot at new environments but her bark is stronger than her bite. She isn't violent and she chirps and purrs little trills upon greeting and playing. The tail is OFF LIMITS as is playing with her back feet or front toes, but she loves head pets and ear scratches, and she is a sucker for some friskies wet food!
