This beautiful orange tabby girl has had a tough time. She has been adopted and returned twice, and both times, it was through no fault of her own. What this sweet, quiet lady needs now is stability, patience, and someone willing to let her take things at her own pace. Chucky is shy with people she doesn't know. She's not going to jump into your lap the moment she meets you—and that's okay. She needs time to get comfortable, learn your routine, explore her new surroundings, and discover that she's safe. But give her that time, and you'll start to see her beautiful personality emerge. ❤️ Once Chucky lets her guard down, she's a very sweet girl. She loves head and chin pets, enjoys being near her people, and is happy to spend some quiet couch time soaking up affection. She may not demand attention, but she'll quietly choose to be beside you—and that's pretty special. Chucky has learned to get along with other friendly cats during her time with us and in her previous homes. She may even do well with a calm, respectful dog with the proper introduction. Because she's a more reserved girl, she'd prefer a home with older children, 12+, who can understand and respect her boundaries while she settles in.
