Cassie was born with a condition that affected her neurological system. Because of that her hinds legs are a little weak. She gets around fine & can run & play, but occasionally, her hind legs will give out on her. She also has trouble climbing & jumping. She is a cuddly cat, loves to be around people, & lay on your lap, but unfortunately she does bite. Even when unprovoked. She will also at times use her claws when unprovoked. My granddaughter & I have both been bitten & scratched by her. I have a sensitivity to antibiotics which makes it dangerous for my health to be bitten by a cat. For that reason my doctor advised that I rehome her for my safety. I’m looking for a loving home for Cassie. She would do best in a quiet home with someone willing to try & help her with her biting & clawing issues.

Right now, Jessie tends to freeze when she’s unsure, choosing to observe the world from a quiet, cautious place. It’s clear she’s still figuring things out, and her personality hasn’t had the chance to fully shine just yet, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. With patience, gentle reassurance, and a calm environment, Jessie has all the potential to blossom into a loving and devoted companion. She’s looking for someone with a kind heart who understands that the best relationships take time. Watching Jessie grow in confidence and come out of her shell will be a truly rewarding experience. Give him a little time and a lot of kindness, and you’ll quickly see his affectionate side come through. When you pet him, he leans right in, pushing his head into your hand and even rolling over to show his belly, a sure sign that he’s learning to trust and enjoy the love he deserves.
