Story
DOB:  12/20/2022 If you’re looking for a cat with some serious cattitude, Reese is for you! Reese and her sister recently left the rough and tumble of the outdoor lifestyle for a more posh indoor life. It’s been an exciting, but at times scary, adjustment for her. The sass required to be an outdoor kitty has, shall we say, stuck with Reese a bit making for quite a fun purrrrsonality. Reese has HUGE green eyes too! They can be a bit soul piercing but are full or silliness and love!    She also has quite the love for churus! She will actively grab your hand to ensure she gets every last drop of Churu!    Reese is a silly and sweet girl that has been waiting quite awhile for her fur-ever home. Consider giving this silly and adorable girl a chance!  Come meet me at the cage free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection.  FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered. Story
Meet Nubbs! Nubbs came to us as a stray in October of 2024 with a severely injured tail that unfortunately needed to be amputated. Thanks to the care of our veterinary team and the patience of our volunteers, she recovered beautifully — and her adorable little nub is how she earned her name! When Nubbs first arrived, she was understandably timid and shy. Life outside hadn’t been easy, and she needed time to learn that people could be kind. During her recovery with our volunteers, she slowly began to come out of her shell. What started as cautious curiosity soon turned into gentle requests for pets. Before long, this shy girl revealed her true personality: sweet, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. Once she feels safe, Nubbs loves attention and will happily lean into pets — and sometimes she’ll even roll over and ask for belly rubs, which is a very special honor in the cat world. Nubbs gets along well with other cats and would likely do best in a calm home with patient adopters who will give her a little time to settle in and feel secure. Once she trusts you, she will reward you with quiet companionship and lots of soft affection. Her tail may be shorter than most, but Nubbs has a very big heart and so much love to give. If you're looking for a gentle, sweet companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Nubbs may be the perfect cat for you. DOB: 10/15/2021 All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV.
