Not good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Izzy adopted me Nov 18 2020. I moved into the house where her owners left her. She was already spayed and had a large hernia on her right abdomen (since repaired). No reason why she was left or whether intentional. Mt guess, there were young children mishandling her. Izzy reacted once to a child who tried to pick her up and she hissed spatted and got agitated. Izzy is more fond of males and eagerly befriends them more so than women, although she is friendly with everyone to greet them and hope for strokes. Izzy is a well behaved and sweet cat. She is a Pixie Bob and walks on a leash acts more like a dog than a cat. If something is in her way she will try to move it by picking it up in her mouth and sometimes succeeds. If I have books or pens art containers etc and am bust with them. She will try to move them out of the way so she can be first in my life. She will pick up pins out of the holder and throw them on the floor. She will do a lot to get my attention. She eats dry food only.

Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
First things first… look at that FLOOFY tail. Seriously. It deserves its own fan club. Butcher is one of those cats who doesn’t immediately hand out trust to just anyone. He’s been taking his time learning that people can be safe, kind, and worth opening up to. Day by day, he’s warming up more and more, and watching that progress has been incredibly rewarding. He’s the kind of cat who will absolutely pick his people, not the other way around. The lucky person who earns his trust will get to see a completely different side of him — the soft, curious, affectionate boy hiding underneath the cautious exterior. Butcher would thrive in a calmer home with someone patient enough to let him settle in at his own pace. No rushing. No pressure. Just understanding and consistency while he figures things out. Once he decides you’re part of his circle, it means something special. He may not be the cat running to the front of the kennel demanding attention… but sometimes the quietest cats form the deepest bonds. 🐾

Story
Dakota Bob may look a little unsure right now, and honestly, shelter life has been overwhelming for him. New sounds, unfamiliar people, and all the commotion have him spending most of his time curled up in a safe little hiding spot. But underneath that nervous exterior is a truly sweet boy who wants so badly to feel safe again. Once he realizes you mean no harm, Dakota Bob leans into kindness. He enjoys gentle attention, cozy blankets, and peaceful company. He’s the kind of cat who will thrive with someone patient enough to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Dakota Bob is FIV+, but cats with FIV can still live long, happy, healthy lives with proper care and regular veterinary attention. What he really needs most is a calm, quiet home where he can finally relax and just be a cat again. If your home has a peaceful corner and your heart has room for a shy boy who deserves a second chance, Dakota Bob may be waiting for you.

Story
I’m spending some time in a foster home right now while I heal and get ready for adoption. I’m not quite ready to go home just yet, but I’m getting closer every day! If you think I might be the one for you, let the humans at the shelter know and fill out an adoption application. That way, when I’m ready, we’ll already be one paw closer to forever. 💛
