Meet Asher – Your Personal Purring Scarf 🧡 From the moment Asher arrived at the shelter, he’s been pure sunshine. This sweet orange boy is overflowing with love and isn’t shy about showing it. His signature move? Wrapping himself gently around the back of your neck like a cozy little scarf — because why sit next to you when he can be as close as possible? Asher adores being held and will happily melt into your arms, purring up a storm. But don’t let his cuddly side fool you — this boy is also an explorer at heart! When he’s not soaking up affection, he’s busy investigating every nook and cranny, turning the world into his playground. Toys that skitter and roll are his absolute favorite. Toss him a little plush mouse or a jingly ball, and you’ll see his playful spirit come to life as he bats and chases with delight. Asher has fit in beautifully with the other cats here, showing he’s as social as he is sweet. And yes, he might lean into that classic “orange cat energy” stereotype — but that just means he brings extra personality, silliness, and heart wherever he goes. If you’re looking for a cat who will be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your daily dose of entertainment, Asher is ready to wrap himself right around your life (and your neck!). Could your home be the one this affectionate adventurer has been waiting for?

One just wants to look at Fitz because he is soooo good looking. A quiet guy that is sometimes over shadowed by the other kittens but he will still be in the middle of the pile playing and having a good time. Access the adoption application at humanecherokeecounty.org and click on adoptio
