Gustav is super sweet, wildly affectionate, and firmly believes your lap is his rightful throne. He loves people, gets along great with dogs and other cats, and is very social—basically the kind of cat who makes himself at home immediately and then steals your heart. He’s around 10 years old, but don’t tell him that. He’s still playful, active, and very much living his best life in his “silver fox” era. FIV+ disclaimer (don’t freak out): Yes, Gustav is FIV-positive. No, it’s not a big deal. It’s only spread to other cats through serious bite wounds (not sharing food, cuddling, or coexisting), and many FIV+ cats live long, normal, happy lives. He just needs routine vet care and love—both of which he fully expects. FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs.
