Koda is a sweet, loving boy who loves to go for walks, hikes and play with toys. He's a very smart boy, who knows the basic commands. Koda is cuddly and loving with the people he knows, but he is a bit timid at first with strangers. Unfortunately this handsome boy is looking for a new home because he isn't getting along with his doggy brother. He gets along with his doggy sister and with a cat in his home, so we think he is dog-selective, or should only be with female dogs. He is almost 2 years old, and about 62 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. Lucius wandered into our lives in August 2022. My mom went into her backyard to find a little puppy had appeared from who knows where. He had giant dinosaur paws and walked like a baby deer, so we knew he was going to get big! Last time we weighed him he was 75 pounds, he's a big boy. Lucius is full of love and energy, he loves to give kisses and has never bit anyone, not even during playtime. He would prefer it if play time was 100% of the time. He's very smart and food motivated, so he knows how to shake, high-five, lay down, and roll over. He's house trained. He really is a big goofball who loves to love. We live in a small house and are preparing for our first baby. We have not been able to train him to stop from jumping on people and he recently started jumping our low 4ft backyard wall and the baby gate inside the house. He cries constantly because he wants to play or go outside and we can't leave him alone in the backyard because of the low fence. We know he deserves more.

Dixie is very sweet and docile. I adopted her 2 years ago and she's lived with another dog during that time. She loves cuddles with humans and dogs. She does have anxiety with loud noises, fireworks and long car rides. She takes trazodone to help and distractions/petting her helps too. Would prefer her to be homed with another dog as this helps her anxiety as well.
