Hi! I am Carly, people tell me I am smart and beautiful! I make my foster parents smile because I am so cute in how I talk when I am asking for something. I have taught them all my languages for my needs! I can sit and wait patiently to be petted, I know to lay down and stay on command. I love to give my toys to people when I play. I live with other dogs, and am ok with most dogs, but can't play too hard. I am housebroken and crate trained, however it makes me a bit worried when I am left alone, so my perfect home should have someone who works part time,or has a hybrid schedule. I would be safer in a 6 foot fence but they may consider other options, as I do love to take long walks. Being an investigative hound, I could not be expected to stay in an unfenced yard! Older kids would be best. A cuddle-lover looking for a new home! He knows several tricks like sit, lay down, and bang! Crate trained and will “go place” and run to his dog bed when asked and before meals. He will stay on his place when he’s ready to eat but will wait until he’s told GO to release. He loves to curl up and cuddle with his blanket and loves scratches! He also loves to bark at and chase after squirrels, birds, and other small animals. Gets along with most other dogs but can be competitive when it comes to food or affection. He loves to eat! He is currently on a diet of 1 cup of Pro Plan Purina 30/20 3 times a day. His stomach can be sensitive with treats sometimes but that rarely stops him. Around 9 years old, and traveled here from Florida looking for a home and I took him in instead of him going to a shelter previously. Him and my current dog just don’t get along due to personality differences. I think he would thrive in a single-dog household!

Cosmo is ready to have his own yard to romp and play. This puppy is energetic and LOVES more than anything to play with his brother (Buckey) who is also at the shelter. They are not bonded, so they do not have to be adopted together. Although we don't know how he will do with other dogs, but if they get along they will be great playmates. Cosmo has energy that needs an outlet. He will need lots of outside time and stimulation to keep him busy. He is a puppy and is learning puppy manners. He will need someone who can spend time with him to learn paws down, get better at leash walking and general house rules. This is one happy guy as you can see from his photos. He loves the volunteers and his outside time. He's just ready for his own stomping ground to run and play with his own family.  ##2791421##

Buckey is a Catahoula Leopard mix with the most beautiful black facial markings. This guy is a goofy romper who loves to play, loves attention and loves his brother (Cosmo) who is at the shelter with him. He did well when introduced to cats, if you have cats in the home he is likely to adapt well. He is a puppy and does puppy things and is still learning basic commands. He will need instructions on what is permitted and what is not while he learns his new environment. He does have puppy energy and will need to be active to be successful in a new home. He LOVES to play with his brother, but is a bit barky at other dogs. So, he may do ok in a home with another dog, but will have to meet to be sure it's a good match. When he gets his energy out, he is a sweet little guy.  ##2791435##
