Story
Fostered in Houston, TX and ready to join her new family for all kinds of adventures is Luna!!! Luna is a spunky young girl who we think is a plott hound/pittie mix, but with rescue it's always best guess! Her DNA test will be a fun one to do though! Whether you're looking for a running partner, a hiking buddy to hit the trails with, or a pal to throw a ball for in the backyard, Luna is your girl! She lives to have fun and be by your side. She likes to learn tricks too! She has already mastered sit and shake! And she says, done✔️ What's next?? Luna enjoys other four legged friends too! She would love to have another playful brother to romp around with. She even did well meeting the Rescue house cat! This could change in a home, but initial reactions were good! In summary, Luna is a fun, sweet, and playful pup who wants nothing more than a family to call her own. Is that you? Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6606f4f9d6af3b6b17019846 Please email evanh@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our dogs and cats are brought to you in style by a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 13,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Digit is a beautiful Lab/Bloodhound mix. He is full of energy and will need training to learn house manners. He uses a doggie door but may not know how to tell you he wants out if you don't have one. This adorable big guy loves to play with other dogs and even though he is a large 80-lbs puppy, his doggie manners are good. He would probably not be good around small children just because of his size. Digit would also very much love to be in your lap for some special one-on-one time. Except for being large; he is actually a great lap dog; he just needs a little extra space.Digit will need a securely fenced yard; five to six feet tall would be the safest. He will also need a playmate and people that are willing to train him to be the best family member he can be. He's basically an oversized puppy who loves to cuddle! Do you have room for him?

Story
My name is Olivia and I am a beautiful Aussie x Catahoula mix dog. I am what is known as a double merle-- The genetic mutation is what give me my beautiful blue eyes and pretty white coat. Unfortunately it also causes deafness. But, please don't let my hearing impairment prevent you from adopting me. It doesn't prevent me from doing anything. I love to get out and about on walks and hikes, sniffing is my hobby. I'm a smart girl and learn quickly. My foster mom is working on teaching me sign language. I have already mastered "sit" and "come". I like other dogs; but, I need a slow introduction. Dogs that come on too strong scare me. My foster mom says that I am the sweetest little-big girl that she has ever met. I haven't met a cat, so we are sure how I would do. I would love a calm and mellow house with no small (young) children. I am house broken and crate trained, I walk well on a leash with a harness, I am spayed and up to date on my vaccinations. If you would like to meet me email kathie@herdinghaven.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello there from the sweetest siblings in town! We are Chocolate Milk and Cookies and Cream, we are both 3 month old Catahoula mix sisters and we are pleased to meet you! Let's get the formalities out of the way, we are currently 17 pounds and likely going to top out around 70 so we are going to be big ladies! We love going for walks, playing with toys, cuddling, and in true puppy fashion we also love a good nap. Even though we are physically big we are still little at heart and mind so we need homes that are dedicated to basic training and exercise so we can grow up to be the best dogs we can be. We are very fast learners and picking up great on potty training, being in our crates, and walking on leashes so we already have a good foundation going for future training. Currently we live with kids ages 3-14, occasionally we will jump on them if we are excited but otherwise we are great with them. If you think one of us could fill a puppy sized hole in your home and heart you can apply to meet us at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2024, 4:30 pm
