Estimated to be about 5-8 years old. Rescued from a animal hoarding situation with a yard of about 30 dogs. Slightly timid, but warming up fast. Still working on learning the leash, but loves to just sit on your lap or follow you around the yard. Not a fan of kids. Neutered, up to date on shots, and microchiped.

Robin Hood Animal Rescue made sure that they got me back. After making sure that I was in good health (that meant a dental), I am now ready for a loving and caring family. OH!!! Affectionate "special needs" Ginger is 4 years old and in search of a loving home that is as special as she is. Ginger had a rough start in life and for the first year of her puppyhood she was strictly confined in a tiny crate with only a few potty breaks. As a result, she suffers from claustrophobia and is terrified of leashes. Despite all this, Ginger is a loving and friendly girl who likes nothing better than to jump up on your lap for a tummy rub, or sit beside you on the couch watching TV. She also loves sleeping in bed with you. She likes toys and chew bones and running around out in the back yard. Ginger is good with other pets and us perfectly potty trained. She uses the doggie door and never makes a mess. Ginger would be the ideal companion for someone who doesn't take their dog for a walk and just wants a friendly and loving pet to be their best friend. Her adoption fee is $125 and includes her spay and all shots.
