Story
  A quick look at Wanda and you probably think she is a Terrier mix. Actually, she is a Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, a breed known for its many wonderful qualities, most notably playful, charming, lively, inquisitive, and intelligent.  Wanda certainly has all of these qualities and more. Although she is about 7-10 years old, Wanda has the energy and gusto of a much younger dog. She is a very bright and friendly girl, always ready to engage for playtime or affection. Wanda embraces all the attention she receives, and enjoys it all from playing with toys, playing fetch, romping in the yard, to cuddling up for love and belly rubs.             Wanda is ready to brighten up a new family with her spry, fun, sweet personality. She gets along with other dogs, but would be fine as the only dog in her new home. She currently weighs about 21-22 pounds, but should be about 18 pounds at proper weight. Wanda continues to be passed on for our Shih Tzus and other smaller, younger dogs, and has been at the rescue for way too long.  Won’t you consider giving this amazing girl a chance, and put in an application today?Please watch the video at the end of the photos to see Wanda displaying all her Podengo greatness. Story
Hank was rescued from miami dade animal shelter when he was fearful he had an incident with a staff. Hank didn’t even want to leave his cage that’s how scared he was. We can’t blame him in a noisy scary environment he was in. Hank now is a lover boy and awaits his forever home. He has never been tested with kids at this time. Needs an adopter with chihuahua experience.

Louie came from Miami Dade Animal Shelter as a stray. Totally overlooked at so he was rescued by Joy and Love Rescue and has been in foster care waiting for his forever home.
