Story
Emilio is available for adoption! Male | 1.5 year | 9 lbs | Chihuahua Emilio is a happy little dude that adores people! He always greets people with a happy smile and a wagging tail and will run over to be picked up! He happily runs over to new people with enthusiasm and loves to snuggle on the couch with whoever is available. He is still young and hasn’t had much experience in this great big world, so he is learning new things each day, like new tricks and how to play with toys. He is so eager to learn and please his humans – he will be a joy to train. He can be a little bit hesitant meeting new dogs at first and will growl to set his boundaries with them. Once he warms up to them, he does really well with dogs and will snuggle up near them for comfort. Emilio happily sleeps through the night in his crate with his blanky, but isn’t the biggest fan of his crate during the day. He gets very excited for walks and has excellent leash manners. He doing really well with his potty training and is well on his way to mastery. Emilio loves his treats and jumps for joy when he sees them come out. He is still working on containing his excitement and sitting like a good boy for his treat – he would like you to know he just has too much excitement to fit it all inside his tiny little body and sometimes some of it just spills out! Emilio is a joy to be around – the type of best friend that people dream of having. He will be somebody’s whole world – which is exactly what this little sweetheart deserves! ***Woof.. Please know that the rescue has posted all the information that they have on me here. As my foster family gets to know me they will post updates, so please check back! If you are interested in me please fill out an application at www.petsaliveniagara.ca/adopt and one of my friends will get back to you within 2 to 5 business days.***"

Story
*This dog is fostered in Hamilton, ON* Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Little Milo was found as a stray with another small dog. He was never claimed and was welcomed into our rescue. Milo is a snuggley boy that just wants to loved. The quickest way to his heart is through his belly.. he loves treats - blueberries are his favourite. His favourite way to spend an evening is cuddled up on your lap watching TV. He also does great with the 2 cats in his foster home and is also fostered with a medium-sized dog, around 40lb. He follows his foster brother around a lot, but even though he is a tiny dude he will attempt to assert dominance over him, mostly in the form of humping. We are hopeful that this will subside after his neuter. Despite enjoying a (tolerant) doggie sibling in the home Milo is leash reactive on walks. He will bark, spin and lunge when he sees other dogs, so this will need further training. Although Milo is a tiny dog, he will need an owner who will NOT caudle him. He has displayed some mild fear reactivity which will only get worse if his new family doesn't provide him with the structure and guidance that he needs. With the right leadership, Milo will learn to be confident and become a very well-rounded member of the home. Milo will build a strong bond with his people and is sure to be a loving addition to the home!Name: MiloWeight: ~6lbAge: ~2 yearsGender: MaleBreed: ChihuahuaColour: BlackMedical: No concerns Fixed: Yes - April 09 Good with men: YesGood with women: YesGood with kids 0-11: No - he is an anxious little dude and can be reactive if scaredGood with kids 12+ Yes, as long as they are respectful that he can be fearful Good with dogs: Good with small dogs to medium dogs, shows some fear/anxiety with bigger dogs - we think that he may thrive as an only dog.
