Gunner is an adorable little guy, around 15 lbs.  We're not quite sure what his breed is, but he looks like a corgi with long legs, Portuguese podengo is just a guess but the AKC description really fits him!  We like to think of him as a pocket Shepherd.  Dont think he will get much over 35 lbs fully grown. Hes a bundle of energy and love, wants to make friends with everybody.  He is up to date on his shots and Kennel trained, but he's young so we are working on potty training with him.  He is super smart as well.  We have him schedule to be neutered in April at PALS in San Marcs.  He's ready for his new family!  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57447/generic ##2688330##

I'm one of the staff favorite's here!  I’m really a gentle, sweet boy—I just need a little time to build trust at first. New things can feel a bit scary, but give me a few tasty treats and some patience, and I’ll be coming up to you for attention nonstop before you know it. I’m one of 30 dogs who were rescued from a large seizure in Wilson County. Life before that was pretty overwhelming, so I’m still learning that things can be safe and kind. Once I feel comfortable, I really enjoy being around my dog friends. Running around with them is one of my favorite things, and I’d do best in a calm, loving home where I can feel secure and relaxed. I’m not asking for much—just a quiet place and someone kind who understands me. I weigh about 14.6 pounds and was born around March 2015, so I’m a sweet senior boy. I’ve been here a while now, just waiting and hoping someone will see me for who I am and give me a chance. My adoption fee is $250, and you can apply to meet me at www.adoggie4you.org. I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride to you, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. I can’t go to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state rules. I may be a little shy at first… but I promise, I’ve got a lot of love to give.
