Meet Rupert! He's a Pointer mix. He weighs 17 pounds and we are estimating him to be about 7 months old! He is a sweet little guy! Don't let the photos fool you...he is much smaller than he looks! He is a playful puppy and a little goofball! He can be pretty calm and is such a sweetheart! He is all up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, has a neuter appointment scheduled, and heartworm negative. Each dog adoption fee of $200 includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, rabies vaccine and tag (age 3 months and up), microchip, deworming, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, a free starter bag of Hills Science Diet, and coupons from area businesses.Please make sure you review the following as part of the adoption process:· Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.· A current government-issued photo ID (no student IDs) - such as a driver`s license, state ID, passport, military ID, etc.· Have a Meet and Greet with the animal and our adoption coordinator (These can be a virtual Meet and Greet session due to COVID-19)· Adopters are responsible for bringing their own travel carrier with them when picking up their new pet.· The Haven accepts cash, check, debit/credit cards, or money orders.* For adopters of cats and dogs aged 6 months or less, or those with a medical condition preventing immediate spaying or neutering, The Haven requires a signed Spay/Neuter (S/N) Agreement and a $100 cash deposit, refundable upon completion of the spay/neuter procedure.
