Story
I’m In Shape, ROUND Is A Shape Mia is a 6 year old Pointer mix weighing in at 58 lbs with a goal weight of 45lbs. Thick thighs and pretty eyes, Mia is working her way towards a hot girl summer. This girl loves food a little too much and now has some weight to lose. Mia enjoys long walks in the park but gets tired and takes a few breaks. Super sweet, Mia bonds with her person quickly and wants to be with them at all times. This girl has been in a shelter for 2 long years and deserves a home of her very own. Mia is an amazing girl and only dreams of someone to love and who loves her. Mia has perfected her doggie manners, she is crate, leash and potty trained. Great with other dogs and loves people, she loves to play and make new friends. Mia needs someone who is committed to helping her lose her extra weight. When she wants to quit and sit, she needs someone who will motivate her to keep going. Daily walks are beneficial for continued weight loss and muscle building. Life may have knocked Mia down, but she got back up and is standing stronger than ever. She didn’t allow the ugly of this world and the walls of a shelter to make her bitter. With a heart of gold Mia has defied all odds and deserves all the best things in life. Sweet and full of love, Mia is just looking for her MR. or MRS. Right! Will you be the one to make her dream come true? All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption. Story
My daughter picked up this sweet boy and his sister abandoned. We were able to find a great home for her and this guy needs a forever home. Our shelter here is full and we are afraid he’ll be put down. We have 4 dogs already and an elderly lab who is not taking well to this young pup being in our home. He has done great with house training, sleeps through the night, and is so sweet. He deserves a loving family.

Story
Meet our “Stranger Things” litter! We have four boys; Harrington, Hopper, Wheeler and Sinclair. Then we have three girls; Robin, Chrissy and Eleven. These sweet 15 week old mixes of Pointer and Schnauzer weigh between 11-17 pounds and should mature to around 45 pounds. They each wear short coats and a few have scruff on their face!  Harrington is white and black while the other pups are black with a tiny bit of white and a chocolate tint to their back. They love playing with people, other dogs and even do well with the cats! These pups are the definition of happy and loving! (ME, 3/23/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.  April 28, 2024, 11:37 pm
