Meet Marley Sue, a special little soul looking for a very special kind of home. Marley Sue came into rescue completely shut down after her owner passed away. Over the months she’s spent in foster care, we’ve learned that Marley simply isn’t looking for the same kind of relationship that most people expect from a dog. She doesn’t want to sit in your lap, go for walks, or be showered with affection. What Marley wants most is a quiet, safe place where she can simply be herself. She’s content having a comfortable place to sleep, good meals, and the occasional ear scratch when she’s feeling up to it. She gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats and is perfectly happy peacefully sharing her home with other animals. Marley does not currently go outside and is pee-pad trained. With plenty of time, patience, and trust, she may eventually become comfortable going outside, but her adopter should be prepared to accept her exactly where she is today. Marley isn’t going to be the right dog for everyone, and that’s okay. Somewhere out there is someone who doesn’t need a dog to entertain them, cuddle them, or follow them from room to room. She needs someone with a quiet home, a big heart, and no expectations beyond giving a little dog the security and peace she deserves. Marley Sue’s adoption fee has been sponsored for the right home. Meet Cooper! He’s a 1 year old Great Dane/Pointer mix with the sweetest personality and the cutest goofy side. Cooper is friendly, affectionate, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys toys, chew bones, and hanging out with his people, but he also has a playful side and would love another dog to romp around with or a couple of walks each day to burn off some energy. He walks well on a leash and is doing great with both crate training and house training. Cooper gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him an easy fit for many different kinds of families.
