Story
Yule is a shepherd/pointer mix whose estimated DOB is 11/21/2018 and weighs about 50 pounds. He is full of energy and just needs some patience and training. He already knows sit, down, and here! He loves interacting and he loves treats, so all he needs is a human companion willing to teach him even more. He loves to run really, really fast so Yule would flourish if he had a backyard to play & run around in and a family of his own to love. Though he is full of energy, he loves pets and snuggles. Come meet Yule today and give him the loving home he needs and deserves! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
Pickels is cute little pointer mix whose estimated DOB is 1/1/2018 and on 7/18/2025 she weighed 27 pounds. She was found as a stray and was with her finder for a couple of weeks. They tell us that she is wary of other dogs, and not good with cats. Pickels knows sit and likes treats and toys! We always recommend bringing your dog for a dog-meet before adopting a new family member. Pickels came to us with a pelvic injury and had corrective surgery. Due to the age of the injury when she came to us, she will always have a bit of a limp. Come meet sweet Pickels today and give her the home she deserves! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Story
Hi, I'm Buttercup! You may know me by my former name, Roscoe, but I'm embracing my new name and all the love it brings! I spent the last two years in a small-town shelter in Arkansas, where life was tough and resources were scarce. Not many people know about the shelter so no one ever visited all of us dogs. All of us dogs there spent all of our time in pens that were outside in the elements. We had a top to our kennel areas but no sides - it was just something they call chain link fence so I was super hot in the summer and super cold in the winter. I was at a big adoption event when a nice rescue group saw me and how unhealthy I was, I was only 25 lbs at the time. They arranged to take me out of the shelter and now I have a wonderful foster mom and dad and two canine foster siblings. Now, I’m on a journey to regain my health and strength, and I'm making progress every day! I gained 20 lbs in 3 weeks!!! I adore spending time with other dogs at my foster home and have even made friends with a cat, showing just how ready I am to be part of a loving home. Rolling in the grass of a normal backyard is one of my favorite new experiences, and I absolutely love wearing a cozy sweater. At the shelter, I lived outside in the elements, but now I can feel the warmth of a safe and loving home with my foster parents and my two foster canine siblings. And my foster mom and dad and the nice rescue people giggle over my silliness when I roll on my back kicking my legs. I'm seeking a forever home where I can be loved the way every dog deserves to be loved. Signing off, Butter Cup
