NOTE: Bonded with Sadie. Must be adopted together.Spencer is an English Pointer mix and is around 11 years old. He is older but does still love to play tug of war. He is a former paws in prison graduate and still knows some commands. He loves to be inside basking in the sun and enjoys quite a few naps throughout the day. He has some sensitive skin and allergies, but keeping him on a lamb-based food with no corn has helped him tremendously. He does well playing with other dogs at dog daycare and gets along good with all the other dogs in his foster home - from a chihuahua to a shepherd. Spencer is fine with cats, too. Spencer loves to go for car rides and for walks. He also loves to go to his foster family's farm and run on the 5 acres. He listens good and is very well behaved. To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
Hey there! I’m George & I am looking for a family to call mine! I was just another stray that ended up at a shelter. The nice rescue people took me out so I could go into a foster family while I wait to be adopted. Some fun facts about me! I just adore snuggling up with Otis, who is a feline orange tabby in my foster home. 🐈 Not only do we cuddle but we play too. So if you have felines, tell them to get ready to cuddle with me! ❤️ I have three canine foster siblings. My favorite playmate is Louie, a super cool German Shepherd-Husky mix. We have the best adventures together! Then, there is Poppy. I love hanging out with her. She is beagle mix so she is much smaller than Louie. We are total couch potatoes, often napping together and even helping each other clean our ears—teamwork makes the dream work. Lastly but not least, there is Henry who is a hound mix and obsessed with everyone’s ears so my ears are extra clean! 👂 I’m quite the talker—I love to engage with my foster mom and dad by nosing them for attention and “talking” to them. If you ever ask me what's wrong, be prepared for my best Chewbacca impression in response! I promise it’ll crack you up! Walking on a leash? I’m a total dream! And I’m kennel trained and treat motivated, which means I’m always up for some yummy goodies! My favorite snacks include avocado, watermelon, green apples, yogurt, cheese, and turkey. Just a little warning—I’m an excited eater, so I might need a slow feeder to help me savor those treats! 🦴 When it comes to my favorite activity, nothing beats putting my head in your neck for some cozy cuddles. I’m a big sweetheart who loves to please, but I can get my feelings hurt easily, so I appreciate all the love and touch you can give! I can’t wait to find my forever home so I hope someone hears my heart in the he bio I wrote about myself. 💙💗 Love, George

Story
Yule is a shepherd/pointer mix whose estimated DOB is 11/21/2018 and weighs about 50 pounds. He is full of energy and just needs some patience and training. He already knows sit, down, and here! He loves interacting and he loves treats, so all he needs is a human companion willing to teach him even more. He loves to run really, really fast so Yule would flourish if he had a backyard to play & run around in and a family of his own to love. Though he is full of energy, he loves pets and snuggles. Come meet Yule today and give him the loving home he needs and deserves! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.
