Meet Oakley 7046 Oakley is one very handsome guy decorated with uniquely distinguishing Fox Hound color patterns and that extra-special crown chakra symbol of interconnectedness. He is in superb athletic condition: trim, svelte, and agile. At first meeting the photographer thought that he was only 2 years old, but his chip says that he has had 4-years of life experience. After the first 10 strides out of his kennel he walks nicely on leash. It may take a few minutes before he really becomes interested in you, but his focus and personality easily makes it worth the wait. Oakley loved “diving” into the shallow water of the pool for submerged hotdog treats. He really likes water (maybe his genetic mix is part Lab). Oakley was well cared for by his previous owners and will fit nicely into a loving family.

Daphne was abandoned with another dog. She weighed 48 pounds at her appointment this week when she was spayed and vaccinated. She is sweet and likes to play. She jumps when she’s around other dogs but we are working on that. She looks to be a pure pointer but that is unknown.

Birdie is an older gentlelady, approximately 8ish years old. This girl is the sweetest little soul. She is good with male dogs, she can be dominant with females. Bird is barrier reactive, so although she is very sweet with those she knows, she can be a little intimidating at a fence. She would make a great watch dog but only if treated with love. Bird must be allowed to live inside with her person/family because she is very loyal and affectionate. Bird is patiently waiting for her special person to come along.
