Story
Siblings Snap, Crackle, and Pop came to Priceless Pets from one of our rescue partners, Maui Humane Society, back in May after they had been found dumped on the side of the road...alone, mostly deaf and blind. Maui Humane quickly snatched them up and made sure they were healthy and safe before transporting to PPR. Sisters Crackle and Pop have been adopted by wonderful families and are living their best lives - now it's Sister Snap's turn! From Puppy Snap's foster family: "It was such a joy to foster these three beautiful sisters since they arrived back in May at just 7-weeks-old! When they first arrived to us as tiny frail puppies, we expected them to be cowering and frightened of everything - boy were we wrong! These girls were independent, feisty, bold, would leap into your arms. Most people who first meet them can't even immediately tell that they're different from other dogs. Nowadays, when we walk Snap around at adoption events or out in public with her Adopt Me sign on, strangers will stop us to ask what breed is she to have such a beautiful unique look. Puppy Snap absolutely loves everyone she meets. She's submissive around bigger dogs and tries to be so gentle with the smaller ones. At our foster home, Snap did great with her crate training. We gave her a kong stuffed with frozen Greek yogurt and peanut butter, etc. so she had something to work on and she slept through the night or while we were away. She also loves snuffle mats and chew treats. We gave her free reign of the house while we were home with access to the yard and she never had an accident inside. Snap is a huge cuddler and loves to be with her people, often napping at our feet while we worked on the computer. She does great walking in her pink harness and loves to stop every so often to just sit and smell what's going on around her. We've so loved fostering Snap and her sisters! We're overjoyed that Crackle and Pop have found their forever homes and just know that the perfect family is out there for Puppy Snap too! Follow the adventures of Snap, Crackle, and Pop on Instagram at instagram.com/puppies_snap_crackle_pop where you can see them from tiny puppies to the beautiful girls of today! ---- What caused their unique appearance and disabilities? These puppies appear to have been born with two copies of the merle gene. When a pet has one copy of this gene it causes the dappled coat color. When a pet inherits two copies of this gene, it can lead to several abnormalities, most notably, a large amount of white in their coat, deafness, and blindness. Because of their white coats and short hair, they will need to be protected from over-exposure to sunlight by appying dog sunscreen, easily found on Amazon. Can they be trained? Absolutely! If you've never trained a blind and/or dog before, there are lots of options out there ranging from free online resources like Keller's Cause (https://www.kellerscause.com) to local experienced trainers. The foster has already been working closely with No Bull Rehab (https://www.nobullrehab.com) and would like to sponsor a free 45-min Zoom meeting with NBR to help get the puppies off to a great start! This Zoom meeting will be arranged after the adoption is complete.

Story
Hello Doggie Bonez family. We need your help again to urgently find a fantastic foster family or adopter for sweet Sage. She is a 4 1/2-year-old, 60-pound female pointer mix that is sweet, kind, playful, and often funny. Sage was adopted out as a 4-month-old puppy back in 2018, and the original adopter gave the dog to another family. They've had her with their female boxer for two years. They were the best of friends until they got into a fight, and Sage got Zena’s ear. Nothing major, but the fight has left the current family unwilling to keep Sage, and we need an urgent foster to hold on to this beauty to avoid her from being put in a bad situation. At this point, Sage is probably best as the only dog.  She is well trained and follows instructions very well. Sage is completely potty trained and has never had an accident in the house. Extremely smart and crate trained. Sage is beautiful and loves her loved ones and will be an amazing addition to any loving family that is looking for an amazing female adult dog. We always recommend providing stability, structure, consistency, love, and training to set these angels up for success. Please open your heart and home to Sage by fostering or adopting. If you feel like you can be Sage's new family and give her a new lease on life, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab. This way, we can schedule a meet and greet. She can also be found on all of our social media pages IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez. If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. We much appreciate the  help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and safety of a home, and we supply you with everything else you may need, dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if required), etc. If you  are interested, please visit  www.doggiebonez.com  to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application.
